Piano Everyday is a mobile application that was earlier intended to be built for a single owner; however, taking into consideration its high scope, it was made open to other people in the same field. The owner happens to be a piano instructor, who gives piano lessons in different formats to her students.

The online world, post-pandemic, has witnessed an unprecedented shift in almost every business sector. Nevertheless, the educational sector was the most affected. The entire perspective of teaching and acquiring knowledge saw a trend, and subsequently, ideas were implemented. In the same way, piano lessons in online mode turned out to be a successful platform, not only for one user but perhaps for many other such teachers. During the course of development, we discovered that the application must not be confined to one single teacher.

The application is owned by Natalia. Natale has taught piano to students of all ages and levels for over 35 years. She holds a Bachelor’s from the University of Missouri and a Master’s in Education from the University of Southern California. She enjoys teaching, composing, performing, accompanying, reading, and writing.
Challenges
The client had a difficulty while maintaining all the dates on the calendar for slots.
The manual booking was done before the application development. It was less feasible, less accurate and less manageable.
Fees data management tool was not available.

Online booking of the slots were made available through Everyday Piano. The client could not navigate through the application in order to book his desired timing and lesson category.
Two dashboards - one for the owner or the teacher and the other for the client or the student were developed by our team.
